Now, owners can start their vehicle remotely and schedule future starts, unlock and lock their vehicle, check fuel and battery level, check tire pressure and locate a lost vehicle with the use of an app. When drivers opt for SYNC® Connect with SYNC® 3, it comes with free activation for five years. This feature adds on an intuitive touchscreen, conversational voice recognition and a simple graphical interface.

EcoBoost Engines in the New Ford Escape

The Escape is the first vehicle by Ford to make the Auto Start-Stop feature standard with both of their EcoBoost engines, the 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter. This amazing feature can sense when the Escape is idling and will turn off the engine to save on fuel. The result is a 4%-6% improvement in fuel economy during stop-and-go traffic. It only takes less than a half second for the engine to automatically restart, after the driver releases the brake pedal.
