Why the 2020 EcoSport Is Awesome for Road Trips

For your next road trip, take your travel adventure to the next level of on-the-road excitement behind the wheel of a 2020 EcoSport.

Power

The 2020 EcoSport is available with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). Both are equipped with plenty of power. The FWD is fitted with a 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine supported by a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces a healthy 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque.

The AWD model comes with a nonturbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder also paired with the 6-speed transmission and produces 166 horsepower and 149 pound-feet of torque.

Performance

On road trips, fuel economy is important and the EcoSport is competitive. The FWD has an estimated EPA economy of 27 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, resulting in a combined rating of 28 mpg. The AWD rates 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, for a combined fuel economy of 25 mpg.

Exterior

There are four trims to choose from: S, SE, Titanium, and SES. Depending on the trim, a variety of standard and optional features are available. A few tech features to consider include FordPass Connect, SYNC 3 Infotainment system with 8-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Entertainment features such as a 6-speaker AM/FM radio, MP3 player, and 10-speaker B&O sound system with 675 watts make drive time a pleasure.

Driver Assisted Features

Available driver assist features such as blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, cruise control, and a tilt/telescopic steering column provide a confident driving experience.

Before your next road trip, test drive the EcoSport and experience its power, performance, and ease of handling.
