Canadians know how to camp. If you’re looking for campgrounds near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, you’ll find plenty. Here are some of the best near town.

 

Peanut Hills Campground

Peanut Hills Campground is on the eastside of Moose Jaw. There are water, sewer, and power hookups at all 110 sites, so it’s perfect for your RV vacation. The camp is near water, where you’ll find people enjoying the summer days, and its proximity to Moose Jaw lets you run errands in town and return in a flash.

 

River Park Campground

River Park is another great campground very near Moose Jaw. It’s open from May to October and holds 60 sites. Enjoy the fire pits, concession stand, and Wi-Fi at the campground. There are plenty of shaded spots under the trees that fill the campground. We suggest renting out of their canoes or kayaks to best enjoy nice weather.

 

Buffalo Pound Provincial Park

North of Moose Jaw, you’ll find Buffalo Pound Provincial Park on Buffalo Pound Lake. This is a great campground no lack of activities. You can walk some of the nearby trails, enjoy the fishing, let the kids play on the playground, and more. There are full hookups, as well as ample primitive sites.

Whichever of these campgrounds you choose, you can head into town at the drop of a hat or spend the day in the great outdoors. There’s no better way to enjoy the summer days than taking a good camping trip.
