The 2019 Ford Flex Delivers the SUV Experience Without the Height

The Ford Flex combines the abilities of an SUV with the function of a wagon. It can fit up to seven passengers and comes in three different trim levels. The choice of engines allows drivers to get the power they need, and its raised driving position provides an excellent view of the road. Here is how the 2019 Ford Flex delivers the SUV experience without the height.

The Exterior

The ride height in the Flex is slightly lower than an SUV but higher than a sedan. It’s easy to get in and out, and the height is perfect for parents who need to strap their kids in car seats. A multi-panel vista roof is an available option which provides all passengers a sky view no matter where they sit.

The Power

The base engine in the Flex is V-6 with 287 horsepower. Stepping up to the Limited provides the option for a 3.5-liter turbo V-6 that will get 365 horsepower. Just like in an SUV, the Flex offers the option for all-wheel-drive in the SEL and the Limited models. If you need to tow, it can handle up to 4,500 pounds when equipped.

The Technology

Ford’s SYNC infotainment system comes standard, and this includes Bluetooth, voice recognition, and a USB port. Extra USB ports, satellite radio, and navigation are available along with the SYNC 3 system that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a touch screen display.

The 2019 Ford Flex offers the ride and power you get with an SUV but without all the height.
