The 2019 Ford EcoSport is an Entry-Level Car with Luxury Touches

The subcompact EcoSport might fit into the entry-level market, but it comes with some upscale touches. Ford offers several different trim levels, so you can get the basics in the S, or bump up to the SES or Titanium to get the extensive list of features.

The EcoSport Cabin

The base EcoSport has height-adjustable front seats and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. Moving up through the trims will get you heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The Titanium adds leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The Technology

Just one step up from the base, the EcoSport SE comes standard with the Sync 3 infotainment system which works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 6.5-inch touch screen. Adding the Convenience Package will get you an 8-inch touch screen with pinch and zoom functionality, along with a Wi-Fi hot spot, an upgraded stereo, navigation, and a 110-volt power outlet. The Titanium adds a 10-speaker B & O Play stereo system with HD radio.

Voice activation with Ford +Alexa allows drivers to get directions, play music, and send a text with just their voice.

The Safety Features

All the EcoSport models have a rearview camera and the MyKey system. MyKey allows parents to set specific parameters such as speed limits, stereo volume, and seat belt use for their teen drivers. Blind spot alert with cross-traffic alert is an available option depending on the trim level.

The 2019 Ford EcoSport offers many of the features you get in luxury vehicles without the luxury price tag.
