The Ford Mustang has long been known as one of the most desired muscle cars. Even at its base model, the 2019 Mustang has a powerful engine and high-end amenities that attract drivers. There’s no need to go for the loaded trim levels to have fun in the 2019 Mustang.

Power

The Mustang EcoBoost Fastback, the 2019 base model, has a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. The engine cranks out an impressive 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. A higher level of performance is found thanks to the muscle car’s twin independent variable cam timing and turbocharging direct injection.

The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment and a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission is available. If you opt for the standard transmission, you’ll have access to launch control.

Performance

Handling corners and navigating through city streets is made easy with selectable-effort electric power-assist steering. Independent rear suspension and monotube shocks with grippy bars and rear cross-axis suspension joints allow for a smooth ride, while vented four-wheel disc brakes make sure you stop when you’re ready.

Interior

The interior of the 2019 Mustang has luxurious amenities and smart technology. Standard features include a driver footrest, leather-wrapped parking brake handle and steering wheel, Intelligent Access with push-button start, rear view camera, MyKey, Track Apps, and two powerpoints. Jam to your favorite tunes on the six-speaker sound system, access apps via SYNC, and keep handheld devices ready at the ready on the two smart-charging USB ports.
