Excellent Towing and Payload Ratings
If you need a truck for serious work or play, one of the higher trims — such as the Platinum, Raptor, or Limited — will give you the most power. For example, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 on the F-150 SuperCrew has a maximum towing capacity of 13,200 pounds. The next highest is the SuperCab at 11,300 pounds on a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8. The dynamic hitch assist is a nice, new component that helps drivers attach a hitch using the F-150’s backup camera.
And the Powertrain to Back It Up
The new series of F-150s provides a variety of engine options across 10 trims and configurations. These are the choices available:

- 3.3-liter Ti-VCT V-6
