Ford’s new lineup for 2017 has something for every type of driver. Here’s a look at what to expect.
Ford Fusion
Competing in the mid-size sedan market, Ford throws its updated Fusion into the mix. Its contemporary design features a sculpted grille and LED lighting upgrades. You have a choice of 12 models, with elegant diamond-quilted seats in the Titanium and Platinum trims. Plus you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the addition of a rotary gear shift dial across all models. It takes up less space, leaving room for cup holders and an extra USB port.
Ford Escape
The crossover market is currently the fastest growing vehicle segment in the motor industry, and Ford is offering the sporty Escape for those looking to join this very popular crowd. Ford has equipped the 2017 Escape with upgraded technology that includes advanced safety features and the SYNC Connect infotainment system. The 2014 Escape was a runaway success for Ford with over 300,000 sold. The 2017 model is sure to do as well, if not better.
Ford Mustang
Die-hard fans of the iconic Mustang will find the 2017 Ford Shelby irresistible. Striped, track-ready and street-cool, the Ford Mustang is for serious car lovers who drool over muscle cars. The Shelby GT350 and GT350R are true racing cars with a throaty roar backed by a 5.2-liter V8 engine that churns out 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. The top of the range G350R comes in at a hefty $62,070 but you can pick up the lower-end V6 Fastback at $24,915.
