Introducing the 2025 Ford Explorer, an SUV that blends luxury and practicality seamlessly. The 2025 Explorer model offers the perfect combination of upgraded exterior and interior design, advanced safety technology, technology features and performance specs. Whether you have an adventurous or practical lifestyle, this car will meet your unique needs.
Revolutionary Upgrades
Ford has updated the 2025 Explorer lineup, leaving only four trims: the base Active, ST-Line, ST, and Platinum. The 2025 Explorer's mild exterior rework includes a redesigned headlight, grille, and lower air inlets and taillamps, all producing a more aerodynamic effect. Comfort is a priority inside the car, with soft-touch materials lining the door panels, centre console, and dashboard, while colour schemes have undergone a rework.
Digital Delights
The 2025 Ford Explorer is equipped with new advanced tech features to make driving enjoyable and easy. The 13.2-inch LCD touchscreen infotainment system integrates Amazon and Google apps, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Ford Digital Experience software offers native streaming while the car is parked. USB ports and power sockets have increased to eight and three, respectively. The Platinum, ST, and ST-Line trims also include a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system.
Art in Motion
The 2025 Ford Explorer features upgrades to its existing exterior design, a more aerodynamic look than previous versions. The front view includes large grilles, sleeker all-LED headlights, and lower, wider air curtains. The back end has redesigned taillights, while the Platinum, ST, and ST-Line trims have the option of a new black-painted roof.
Elevating Comfort
With the user's comfort in mind, the car offers new soft-touch materials lining the door panels, centre console and dashboard, providing a luxurious feel. The redesigned dashboard means that front passengers have ample space, while a mechanism moves the second-row seat seamlessly to allow entrance to the spacious third row. With all rear seats folded down, the car provides 2,486 litres of cargo space, or 1,356 litres behind the second row, while the third-row seats provide 461 litres of cargo space, or 2,415 litres behind the first row.
Unleashing Power
Performance with the 2025 Ford Explorer is nothing short of power and speed. The 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine, rated at 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, powers the base Active, ST-Line, and Platinum trims. For those looking for high performance, the ST trim comes with a turbocharged 3.0-litre V-6 rated at 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. All Explorer cars come with a ten-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
Guardians on the Road
The 2025 Explorer comes with automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. On top of the standard features, Ford offers several driver-assistance technologies, including self-parking assist and more advanced smart sensors, to complement driver safety.
